Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca – Transfer to Rabat
Arrive at Casablanca airport and meet your driver. You’ll be transferred to Rabat, Morocco’s capital city. The rest of the day is free to relax or explore Rabat’s serene boulevards and seaside ambiance. Overnight in Rabat.
Day 2: Rabat – Chefchaouen
Start the morning by exploring Rabat’s key landmarks, including the Royal Palace, Hassan Tower, and the Kasbah of the Udayas. Then travel through the Rif Mountains to reach the picturesque Chefchaouen, known as the Blue City. Enjoy free time to stroll its cobalt-blue streets and vibrant medina. Overnight in Chefchaouen.
Day 3: Chefchaouen – Fes
Begin your day with a relaxing walk to Ras El Maa spring, a tranquil spot surrounded by nature. Take in the calm beauty of Chefchaouen before continuing your journey to Fes, one of Morocco’s oldest imperial cities. The evening is yours to unwind or explore Fes at your leisure. Overnight in Fes.
Day 4: Full Day in Fes
Delve into the ancient medina of Fes, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit historic places such as the Al Quaraouiyine University, Bou Inania Madrasa, tanneries, and traditional souks. Discover the spiritual and cultural essence of Morocco’s intellectual capital. Overnight in Fes.
Day 5: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Merzouga (Sahara)
Travel through the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains, passing through Ifrane, known as “Little Switzerland,” and the cedar forests of Azrou. Stop for lunch in Midelt before continuing to Merzouga, where the towering dunes of the Sahara Desert await. Optional: Camel ride into the dunes at sunset. Overnight in Merzouga.
Day 6: Merzouga – Todgha Gorge – Dades Valley – Ouarzazate
Begin your journey west through the dramatic Todra Gorge with its towering rock walls and beautiful landscapes. Continue through the scenic Dades Valley and the Valley of Roses to reach Ouarzazate, the “Hollywood of Africa.” Overnight in Ouarzazate.
Day 7: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
Visit the iconic Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-listed mudbrick ksar featured in numerous films. Journey through the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n’Tichka Pass to arrive in Marrakech. Enjoy free time in the evening. Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 8: Full Day in Marrakech
Explore the magic of Marrakech: visit the Koutoubia Mosque, the Bahia Palace, the vibrant Jemaa el-Fnaa square, and the exotic Majorelle Garden (optional). Wander through bustling souks and experience the charm of Morocco’s red city. Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 9: Marrakech – Casablanca
